College Recruiting 101

Playdates at colleges are a great way to get noticed.  If you are a 10th grader or younger the coaches can't talk to you do to recruiting restrictions with the NCAA.  You can reach out to them.  NAIA schools you can talk to them whenever no restrictions.   NCAA schools can't talk back to you until you the summer going into your junior year.

I will be sending names, grades and email to college coaches when asked.  It will be up to the player to correspond back and/or keep that school on thier radar screen.  Just know if they dont' respond back, it's not that they don't want to, they possibly can't legally do so due to NCAA violations.

A great site to start narrowing down colleges is college board.  Create a profile you can sort colleges by region, lacrosse programs and academic interests.
